Our Story

Welcome to the Country FarmHouse Retreat! We're Jim and Julie Reavis, the proud owners and members the Grapeland farming community. With more than 35 years in Texas and deep-rooted family history in agriculture, we invite you to enjoy the peaceful ambiance and natural beauty of rural life. You may see us or our neighbors bailing hay, fixing fences, or tending to our cattle, we hope you feel right at home in our lively community. 

The Property

Our property is a short term rental located halfway between Houston and Dallas in East Central Texas. The Country Farmhouse Retreat is situated on 60 acres with abundant trees, hay meadows and a lake. Our guest will have access to the main house, game room, hot tub, pool and lake all privately located well off a paved road.
